Uganda Travel and Tourism News: Kibibi Sub County residents angry about poor roads

The residents of Kibibi Sub-county in Butambala district have shown their dissatisfaction to the Butambala Resident District Commissioner, Ramathan Walugembe about the Butambala- Sembabule road through Kibibi Sub-county.

The residents say that the road is in a sorry state for a long time after several promises from the government to work on it.

Residents say that the President himself has made several promises to tarmac the road that the latest promise being the one he made during the recent presidential elections but no work has been done yet.

RDC Walugembe however says that he has approached many government officials about the same road but they have always promised to come and work on it any time without specifying the date.

Walugembe says that he will mobilize other district stakeholders to go and meet the President at Statehouse over the Butambala-Kibibi-Sembabule road.
