Uganda Sports News: Ugandan appointed on FIFA Medical Committee

Uganda’s Dr James Sekajugo has been appointed a member of the world football governing body’s medical committee.

Dr Sekajugo who has been a Fifa instructor and a lead in the Caf medical team has already received his appointment letter

According to FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valke they will be informing Dr ssekajugo on the date when they will be meeting to discuss his new appointment and roles to play.

Sekajugo’s sports medicine career has seen him serve on various continental and global medical Commissions including chairman Supreme Council of Sports Medical Commission, deputy chairman International Badminton Federation Medical Commission

He became a member of the Commonwealth Games Medical Commission in 2006 and has served on Confederation of African Football Medical Commission since 2001.
