Uganda Sports News: FIFA donates to Uganda Cranes

The Federation of International Football Association has handed over a consignment of sports items to the Uganda Cranes team in an effort to improve the performance of the national team.

The items were handed over to the Uganda Cranes by FIFA Uganda official, Deo Mutabaazi in Kampala.

Mutabaazi said FIFA is committed to help development of football in Africa, partly through helping teams secure the sports items they need.

While receiving the cranes, the Manager of the Uganda Cranes Asuman Lubowa thanked FIFA for the offer and said the items will be properly utilised.

Lubowa says the Uganda national team is strategising on how to improve their competitiveness in international sport and better equipment are a good addition to help them achieve that goal.
