Uganda People News: New Visions apologies over wrong prince mother photo

The Chief Executive of The New Vision, Robert Kabushega has apologised for the wrong publication of a photo their different media houses claimed was of the other of Buganda prince, Richard Ssemakokiro.

Barbara Patience Kirabo, the woman whose picture was published in the New Vision and Bukedde papers o Wednesday today addressed a new conference threatening to sue the Vision Group for defamation.

The new papers carried a story and a picture revealing  that Rose Nansikombi, 24,a daughter of elder Ssalongo George Edward Sserebe and Nnaalongo Christine Nalubanjwa, of Nswanta village, Bamunanika county in Luweero district, as the  mother of the prince.

But the photo was instead of Kirabo who says she has been derided wherever she passes and her fiancé has cancelled their planned wedding this year after her photo was published.

Kabushenga in a statement has admitted the photo they published is not of Nansinkombi as they believed and has apologised to Miremebe and their readers who received this misleading information.
