Uganda People News: Nampijja former lover survives poison

Geofrey Mukisa, the ex-husband to former Rubaga south MP Suzan Nampijja is struggling for his dear life at Mulago hospital in ward 4B.

He reportedly took poison after attempting to cut Nampijja to pieces on Sunday night.

Mukisa who was admitted at Mulago on Sunday is said to have been in a very critical condition by the time he was admitted and since then his life has been supported by oxygen upto today when it was put off.

According to the hospital publicist, Dan Kimosho, Mukisa’s wife was in great danger and was considered to be half dead but now has slightly improved though still has much difficulty in breathing and has severe diahorrea and vomiting as a result of taking poison.

Kimosho explains that the hospital is today going to make major reviews to understand how deep the poison might have affected him so as to rule out what exactly was affected in his stomach.
