Uganda People News: Mbidde to celebrate court victory

The legal advisor of the Democratic Party, Mukasa Fred Mbidde is organizing a party  to cerebrate his court victory in ArushaTanzania.

Mbidde recently won a case he had filed in the East African Court of Justice sitting in Arusha against the East Africa Community and the government of Uganda over election of representatives of the East Africa Legislative Assembly.

The court ruled that even DP and other parties represented in Uganda parliament must be represented in the East Africa Legislative Assembly.

Mbidde in a telephone interview said that the party will take place at his home in Kizungu zone in Makindye,Kampala.

According to sources, Mbidde has invited the Presidents of all opposition political parties and a few of his friends in NRM to attend his court victory party.

Mbidde says the money for the party has been contributed by his supporters and the Democratic Party. He is also hoping to launch his campaign to represent DP in the EALA.
