A group of orphans whose parents died in the Kibwetere Incident in Kanungu have threatened to go to court if government does not respond to their concerns.
A group led by Idiidi Boaz has today appeared at parliament to remind the speaker of parliament to take action on an earlier petition they presented.
The group argues that since their parents died in the infamous inferno 11 years ago, no compensation has been made to them and all the petitions they have made to various authorities like parliament, the prime minister and the president have not yielded any results.
They now demand that their land which was turned into a tourist site and part given to prison be returned to them.
Idiidi adds that they want government to release the report into the incident saying it is long overdue.
