Uganda Heritage News: Buganda kingdom honours Cardinal Wamala

Buganda kingdom has given out numerous awards to people who have contributed immensely to the development of the kingdom and well being of the monarcy.

The Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi today handed over the awards at a ceremony help in Bulange Mengo.

Among others, the Kabaka honoured Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala for his tireless efforts towards peace and the growth of the kingdom.

The Kabaka said that cardinal Wamala has been so fundamental in bringing together the people of Buganda regardless of their tribes and for fostering dialoghue between the central government and Buganda kingdom.

The Kabaka also gave out honors to the Late Bshop Adrian Kivumbi Ddungu, Professor William Ssenteza Kajubi and Msgr. John Wynand Katende among others whom he thanked for their good contribution to Buganda kingdom.
