Uganda Health News: Zombo district appeals for health center IV

The Woman Member of parliament for Zombo district   Grace Freedom Kyinycwiny has appealed to government to upgrade  three health centers in her district to the level of health center IV.

Kyinycwiny told journalists at parliament that the the people in  Zombo district  travel long distances to get health  services from Nebi and Arua districts especially for illness that require operation due to lack of such services in the district .

She said  that  currently, there are three health center3 hospitals  in the district together with a mission hospital but the district lacks its own hospital in addition to lack of banking services.

Grace adds that even Naads money can not be accessed due to lack of banks in the area but instead such services are found in the neighboring districts of Nebbi and Arua.
