Uganda Health News: Low milk consumption worries minister

The minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, Tress Buchanayande has expressed concern over the low milk consumption in the republic of Uganda.

Buchanayande says that in the East African Community, Uganda records the lowest milk consumption.

The minister urges Ugandans to increase their milk intake to improve their health and wellbeing.

Tress has further urged more Ugandans to engage in farming and cattle keeping in order to make Uganda produce more milk and meat for both home and international consumption.
