Uganda Government News: Museveni warns saboteurs of electricity and oil sectors

Ultimate Media

President Yoweri Museveni has vowed to fight anyone attempting to fail the government’s development programs in the petroleum oil and electricity sectors.

President Museveni’s comments come days after the government signing production oil agreements with Tullow Oil Company and the opening of 25 megawatts of Bujagali power dam last week.

He was speaking at the Tahere sita celebrations being celebrated in Kasese district today.

Museveni says, there have been several attempts to sabotage the electricity projects in the past which have delayed numerous government programs.

He adds that, the NRM government has built the country’s economy from scratch to an attractive growing economy which he won’t allow to be destroyed.
