Are you a handsome man with well built body or are you a beautiful young lady with a lithe body, with a killer smile and want to be Mr and Mrs Katwe. If you think you have what it all takes then this could be your chance to become miss or Mr. Katwe.

You may wonder why any one would want to be Mr or Miss Katwe, a Kampala suburb, an area known to be a home of robbers, conmen and prostitutes.

Ms Rose Nabwami, the coordinator of the beauty contest says that the area has outgrow that bad reputation is known as the home of invention since most products and utensils can be fabricated in Katwe.

She says each winner will walk away with one million shillings cash on top of getting a trip to mweya lodge in western Uganda.

Nabwami says in addition to taking part in the beauty contest, each participant must compose one love song and the composer of the winning song will win one million shillings cash.
