Uganda Education News: UNEB to release UCE Senior four results this week

The ministry of education and sports together with the Uganda national Examinations Board are set to release the 2011 S.4 results this week.

Jessica Alupo, the minister of Education and Sports says the results will be released on Wednesday this week in the morning.

Speaking to journalists  Alupo also encouraged teachers to report to school and teach as government addresses their issues.

She says the government has taken a decision to increase teachers’ salaries to better figures although this has been spread in three financial years beginning with the 2012/2013 financial year.

Alupo urged parents to ensure that they take their children to school and also asked all leaders to monitor the schools in their areas to ensure that children learn and also make reports to relevant authorities in case some things are wanting.
