Uganda Education News: Trinidad and Tobago to train Ugandan on oil

The government of Trinidad and Tobago has praised to train a group of 28 Ugandan students in oil and petroleum management.
The Uganda petroleum institute is in preparation to send its 24 pioneer students to Trinidad and Tobago for industrial training in the country’s oil and gas industry.
This was revealed by the institutes chairman Prof Charles Kwesiga while addressing a group of journalists that visited the institute’s headquarters in Kigumba in Kiryandongo dist
Kwesiga said that negotiations are ongoing and the government of Trinidad and Tobago has already accepted to take them on in order for them to have hands on training. He says that 4 students out of 28 students had already been taken on and the 24 will be joining them for the six months training that will help them acquire practical skills in the oil industry.
