Uganda Business News: Jinja garage fire destroys property

A fire at a garage in Jinja has destroyed at least 10 cars and 20 motorcycles.

The fire broke out at Akright garage, located along Spire road.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established though it’s suspected to have originated from one of the kiosks in which food is cooked and served.

The police was called in and managed to stop the fire from spreading to neighboring garages.

The extent of the damage caused by the fire is still known though it’s suspected to be extensive.
