Uganda Arts News: Top Model Trend search to launch on Thursday
The new talent search dubbed ‘Top Model Trend will be launched this Thursday in Kampala. The girls between 17 and 24 years, who want to become models, stand a chance to win three million shillings.
The launch will take place at IT club on Second Street in industrial area in Kampala.
Top Model Trend is also looking for hair stylists and fashion designers. The models will showcase in hair styling and makeup among other things.
The search has three categories: Model, fashion and hair stylist. The winners in addition to money will have their pictures printed on the front page of TMT magazine.
The finals will take place on 21st November 2009 at Serena Hotel in Kampala under the theme ‘enhance beauty, enhance life.’
The President of the Federation of African Designers, Hajji Alphandi, according to the programme will head the jury and award team.
