Uganda Arts News: Museveni challenges authors

President Museveni has challenged authors to always authenticate their publications before putting them on market for public consumption.

The president says this will help in publishing quality material and enriching the public with information that will have an impact on peoples lives.

The advice was contained in his speech read for him by the Minister without portfolio Dorothy Hyuha during the launch of a book entitled the quotes of Museveni.

The 132 pages book published by Stephen Senbuya carries over 600 quotes President Museveni made in the last 3 years. Sembuya says that the quotes that include political, economic, social aspects are motivating and inspiring to the public.

President Museveni pledged 2 million towards supporting the publication but called on the author to improve it by including the dates and places where the quotes were delivered.
