Uganda Sports News: UABF vows to win king’s cup in Bangkok

Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) is working towards winning the king’s cup due to take place in Bangkok, Thailand.
The international boxing event is scheduled to take place from December 13th to 14th 2009.
The Secretary General of UABF, Simon Barigo says UABF wants to triumph at the Bangkok event.
Uganda last participated at Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA) in 1994.
Barigo says the Bangkok event has attracted best boxers from England, Mongolia, China, Rusia, France and Ukraine among other areas.
The Secretary General of UABF says they are looking for money to transport boxers to Bangkok come December.
UABF is yet to name the team of boxers who are going to represent Uganda in Bangkok.
