The Member of Parliament for Makindye West, Hajji Hussein Kyanjo has asked Police to explain the vehicles without number plates which are being used by some government officials.

Kyanjo says some government officials have cars with unclear number plates. He says that such cars at times have Red number plates and sometimes ordinary plates.

He says that these cars which have been sighted in different parts of the country include BMW number H460p, Toyota pickup no PH53v and Mercedes Benz number H462p.

Kyanjo says that some of the cars have a Ugandan flag hanging on them and it is confusing which government official actually drives those vehicles.

All government vehicles are supposed to have Red number plates with clear letter and numerical number plate series that identifies the government department the vehicle belongs to.
