The Minister of State for Water, Jennifer Namuyangu and the Member of Parliament for Kibuku Constituency, Saleh Kamba are fighting over ownership of new militia group.

Namuyangu on September 23 wrote to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Matia Kasaija accusing Kamba of creating a private army in eastern Uganda.

In the letter, the Minister alleged that the MP had recruited army deserters to over throw the central government.

MP Kamba denies the allegations made by the minister. Kamba through his lawyers of Kamba and company advocates has threatened to sue Namuyangu.

The security has already briefed President Museveni about the rift between his minister and MP Kamba.

Kamba demands $5 million US dollars (about 10 billion shillings) to drop the defamation charges against Namuyangu in damages.

MP Kamba says the minister wanted to gain political influence by branding him a rebel.
