Mayur Madhvani, one of the Directors of Madhvani Group of Companies has said their company wants to invest in the production of ethanol.
Mayur says the company has set aside over 50 billion shillings in preparation for the project.
He says Madhvani Group wants to produce over 25 million liters of ethanol for the start.
Madhvani says the company plans to construct its ethanol factory in Mukono district.
He says the company plans to sell ethanol to government. The government currently buys ethanol from South Africa among other countries.
