The Lords Resistance Army rebels have launched attacks on civilian population in the republic of Southern Sudan.
The rebels have attacked Darfuri displaced peoples camp in Southern Sudan and allegedly killed 10 people.
Reports indicate that the LRA fighters abducted people and stole household items worth millions of shillings.
The Spokesperson of Southern Sudan's army, Kuol Diem says they have deployed heavily to curb further attacks by LRA rebels.
There are also fears in Southern Sudan that the LRA fighters could be connecting to Darfur Region of Sudan.
The Spokesperson of Uganda Peoples Defence Forces, Lt. Col. Felix Kulayigye says the army is monitoring up the movements of LRA leader Joseph Kony and his fighters.
Kulayigye advises Kony to denounce rebellion or risk being killed by the national army at the battle field.
