Twiggy:You are not the usual 5'9 model for catwalk shows - how come you are so successful at it?
I work hard and I am good at what I do, I believe anything is possible if you put your mind to it and I have always wanted to model and was put off by the height restrictions but one day I thought I would go for it after always hearing everyone telling me I would be a good model, so I went down to the Mahogany Model Management casting and was taken on by my surprise.
Why were you surprised?
Well it is different friends and family telling you, you should model and the experts saying we want to represent to as a model - (Kadiatu laughs...).
Why do you like doing Catwalk shows?
I love doing catwalk shows because I find I really come into my own when I am on stage, I absolutely love being dressed up in different clothes by all the different designers - they give you different roles to play on stage at different shows which is very exciting and challenging sometimes. Some clothes make you feel edgy and strong whereas other clothes can make you feel really girly and almost timid but I enjoy it all and love the show aspect of catwalk, walking out in front of all the journalists and photographers and representing each designer, it is such a great feeling and not to mention the traveling all over the country which is also great.
What has been your most favorite catwalk show so far?
My favorite show was Nolcha during London fashion week - February 2008.
What Fashion Shows do you have coming up?
I have lots of shows during London Fashion week the Make your Mark at the Hospital club on the 16th September and Fashion Diversity on the 19th & 20th September and a few other shows in Europe still being confirmed!
What other work do you enjoy?
I love beauty work! Working with cosmetic, product or skin care companies this type of work I really enjoy because it is so different to catwalk and you have to use a different skill and a different part of your body – this is were good facial expressions comes into it were you have to use your lips and eyes to convey the correct mood and feel of the brief.
What do you mean by 'brief'?

Kadiatu Kamara.
When you get booked for a job the Client will give you a brief before you attend the shoot date, the brief is about the product and the feeling they are trying to portray, so you normally get into character even before you get to the shoot so that you can make it work on the day, I really enjoy beauty work and want to do a lot more of it.
Any advice?
Believe in yourself and never give up giving up!
Anyone you want to thank?
Sophia White my booking agent at Mahogany Model Management for all her support and help over the past year!
